Safety Full Face Shields
The unprotected human eye is
extremely sensitive to laser radiation and can be permanently
damaged from direct or reflected beams.
The LEXEL™
adjustable laser face shield is designed to protect the face and
eyes for jobs that require more protection coverage than laser
safety glasses or laser safety goggles offer.
The LEXEL™ face shield
features a ratchet adjustable nape strap for a custom fit.
Constructed from durable nylon and a pivoting action allows user
to lift face the shield while wearing it.
Getting the right laser safety protection for you is important to
us. We have a highly experienced, and trained, staff to help you
with selecting laser glasses, laser goggles, laser
barriers/curtains, laser windows, laser safety publications, laser
training or any other laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) safety
products you might need.

400 laser filter was primarily developed for protection
from CO2 lasers (10,600 nm). This laser Face Shield may provide
protection from other laser wavelengths not listed. ANSI Z136 OD Filter
specifications are permanently engraved.

OD Specifications (Optical Density):
OD 6+ @ 10,600 nm
Optical Density: is a measure of
the transmittance of an optical element for a given length at a given
wavelength λ. The higher the optical density, the lower the
transmittance of light at a specified waveleng. See the ANSI Z136 for
more information about OD and laser glasses.
VLT % (Visible Light Transmission):
82%
VLT: The attenuation of light by a
filter in the visible spectrum. VLT is determined in relation to
standard illumination and evaluated according to the daylight-adapted
(photopic) or night-adapted (scotopic) conditions descriped more in the
ANSI Z136.7 for Testing and Labeling of Laser Protective Equipment. The
lower the VLT, the less "visible" light is transmitted. Laser glasses
may affect the ability to see warning lights/signs or distinguis between
colors.
