OD Specifications (Optical Density):
OD 6+ @ 10,600 nm
Optical Density: is a measure of the transmittance of an optical element for a given length at a given wavelength λ. The higher the optical density, the lower the transmittance of light at a specified wavelength. See the ANSI Z136 for more information about OD and laser glasses.
View Through Laser Window Filter:
VLT % (Visible Light Transmission):
90%
VLT: The attenuation of light by a filter in the visible spectrum. VLT is determined in relation to standard illumination and evaluated according to the daylight-adapted (photopic) or night-adapted (scotopic) conditions described more in the ANSI Z136.7 for Testing and Labeling of Laser Protective Equipment. The lower the VLT, the less "visible" light is transmitted. Laser window may affect the ability to see warning lights/signs or distinguish between colors.
*View Through Laser Window Filter is a general representation of the visibility through the laser window. The color and transmitted light may vary from what is shown. Please contact us for more information about this laser filter.

405 is an Acrylic laser filter window offering protection primarily from 190-375 nm and 10,600 nm lasers. This laser safety window may provide protection from other laser wavelengths not listed.
